The Charter of Client Rights and Responsibilities in relation to health and healthcare is a social contract between citizens and the healthcare system. It defines what people expect from the healthcare system (rights) and also how we commit to it as active individuals (responsibilities). The principles on which the Charter is based are the recognition of the dignity of the person<\/strong>, freedom and autonomy, equality, access to health information and knowledge, and civic engagement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

L\u2019actual sistema sanitari es basa, entre altres principis, en l\u2019equitat en l\u2019acc\u00e9s als serveis i prestacions. L\u2019aprofundiment i compliment efectiu del principi d\u2019equitat exigeix, de forma progressiva, que la utilitzaci\u00f3 dels recursos s\u2019orienti a la satisfacci\u00f3 de les necessitats de salut<\/strong>, de tal forma que l\u2019esmentada utilitzaci\u00f3 dels recursos sigui tan eficient com es pugui, evitant les conductes poc diligents, irresponsables o abusives.
