Dr Eva Maria Palau i Gil holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery at Universitat de Barcelona (UB). She has always worked in hospital emergency care, first at Hospital de Campdevànol (Ripollès) and subsequently at Hospital Universitari Dr Josep Trueta and Servei d'Emergències Mèdiques (EMS). In 2001 she took on the role of Head of the Emergency Department at Clínica Girona, where she is currently the Clinical Director.
