At Clínica Girona, we focus our efforts on providing specialised outpatient and inpatient healthcare, with the aim of offering a quality healthcare service to the population of the Girona region, responding to criteria of effectiveness, privacy, human treatment and accessibility.
We must not forget that the image of Clínica Girona has been built on two fundamental pillars: the development of the center's professionals and its technological development.
At Clínica Girona, we employ around 600 professionals, including medical, nursing, administrative, and operational staff. We also continuously promote ongoing training to address emerging health challenges.
The clinic has 120 beds of hospitalisation, eight high-definition intelligent operating rooms , three sales for births and three for endoscopies, eight boxes In the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ten Emergency bays and 38 dialysis points, three of them with two machines. It also hosts a day hospital area, both medical and surgical, with 20 individual consulting rooms and an outpatient minor surgery unit. All of this, with the support of permanent Diagnostic Imaging, Clinical Analysis, and Pathological Anatomy services. The Clinic also has 180 parking spaces at basement.
The healthcare sector is changing and requires continuous evolution in terms of new technologies, techniques, and procedures. We were the first clinic of the city of Girona (1934), the first to operate a Dialysis centre in the Girona region (1974), and pioneers in implementing new Diagnostic Imaging techniques (CT and MRI) and providing Nuclear Medicine services in Girona. In 2026, we incorporated the first Da Vinci robotic system installed at a private clinic in the Girona region. It allows minimally invasive surgical procedures to be performed with great precision and control, resulting in better outcomes for interventions and a faster recovery for patients.
