How to join
To enter, you must present your identity document at the Admissions Department (ground floor) and, if you belong to an insurance entity, your company's accreditation card and authorisation documents, unless this procedure has been carried out by the Clinic's authorisation service. The Admissions staff will ask you for the necessary administrative details and will accompany you to your room. He will explain how it works (lights, TV remote, etc.). Once installed, the nursing staff will give you more details about your stay, clarifying any doubts you have. If you require a proof of income, you must request it from the Admissions staff.

Pre-admission Information
- You will receive a call between 24 and 48 hours before admission to confirm the day and time you need to arrive at the Clinic, at the same time you will be reminded of the documentation you need to bring to formalise it.
- You will be informed of the deposit you will have to make as a down payment for items not covered by insurance.
- It is recommended not to carry valuables or large amounts of cash. In any case, we provide you with a safe in case it was necessary to deposit something there.
Upon admission
- You will need to bring:
- Healthcare documentation (ancillary tests, pre-operative, etc.)
- If you belong to a mutual, a Admission authorisation for intervention or treatment, unless it has been processed by Clínica Girona authorisation service.
- The clothing and personal effects you will need during your stay.
- When you enter, you will be informed of the hospital centre standards referrals regarding visits, cafeteria hours, etc.
- You have to sign the informed consent necessary to be able to carry out the treatments and a personal data protection commitment form.
During your stay
- We will provide you with a form to record the medication you are taking.
At the time of hospital discharge
- You have the right to own a discharge report complete Your doctor will provide you with a document detailing the treatment received, the medication to be taken at home, and how your follow-up care will be managed after discharge.
- Once you have been discharged, you will need to go to the Admissions Department to complete the administrative discharge and make possible closure of your file.
