Clínica Girona receives Quibim's Luminaries recognition for its leadership in the use of artificial intelligence applied to prostate cancer detection.

Specifically, the Magnetic Resonance Imaging service at our centre not only uses the artificial intelligence tool QP-Prostate, which optimises radiologists“ workflows through automated prostate segmentation and the detection of suspicious lesions, but has also clinically validated its use through the study: ”Validation of an AI-computed aided detection system for clinically significant prostate cancer in routine MRI".

This work has confirmed the utility of technology as a supportive tool for detecting clinically significant prostate cancer in routine clinical practice. The results have been disseminated in specialised scientific publications and will be presented at medical congresses.
