The Memory Study Unit is a section of Clínica Girona that was created with the intention of offering a efficient and quality service in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of all kinds of memory disorders in the Girona region.
In parallel, this unit aims to raise awareness of the importance of memory reviews at an age of risk or when the first suspicions of memory problems arise; whether subjective or on the part of friends or family. It is transcendental to assess memory disorders in their early stages., because therapeutic intervention at this early stage is of great importance in all types of disorders, but especially when these memory deficits are caused by dementias such as Alzheimer's, as its progression can be delayed and its symptoms alleviated.
Memory review
Memory reviews are the first step in detecting Alzheimer's or other types of dementia, and they also allow us to know if a person's memory is in good condition, something which offers peace of mind.
