From the very first day he entered the Faculty of Medicine at the UAB, in the Teaching Unit of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Dr. Lluís Terradellas Oliver already knew he wanted to be a family doctor. The kind who knows the community, who accompanies people throughout the years, and who has an integrated view of health.

Graduate in Medicine and Surgery at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Teaching unit at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau.

With a career that began in 1990, they have worked in various rural practices - from Mieres to Rupià, passing through Bescanó, Verges, and Portbou - learning from each place and each patient. However, they have never stood still: over the years, they have combined patient care with coordinating continuity of care teams, medical directorship, and teaching.

Their commitment to medicine extends beyond our borders. They have participated in cooperation projects as a family doctor in Tibet, Ecuador, and Nicaragua, bringing healthcare where it is most needed and learning languages such as Tibetan along the way. They are able to communicate fluently in Catalan, Spanish, French, English, Greek, and even Tibetan, a further example of their universal vocation.

He has also been a medical advisor for computerised clinical history systems (INFO 33), leading implementation and training processes for other professionals, both in Catalunya and Bilbao. A true expert user, with a passion for technology applied to medicine.

Nowadays, they divide their activity between Clínica Salus Infirmorum, Espai Mèdic Banyoles and Espai Mèdic Girona, where they practise Family Medicine from a friendly, preventative and effective approach. They also collaborate with Adeslas Senior Girona and Banyoles and have been in continuous training for over three decades, with a special interest in areas such as Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Psychiatry and Dermatology.

The doctor Lluís Terradellas Oliver is a friendly, experienced, and curious doctor, with his gaze fixed on both the person and the world.
