Clínica Girona and the FCBQ have renewed their collaboration agreement for the development of prevention and health improvement activities.
On the line initiated, for a few seasons now, of establishing collaboration agreements with different companies and institutions that can offer a benefit to the development of activities and the federated members of Catalan Basketball, the Catalan Basketball Federation (FCBQAnd I Clínica Girona formalised the renewal of the collaboration agreement until 30 June 2026.
This agreement, which strengthens the links between health and sport, is an important milestone for both the Girona Clinic and the FCBQ, which has positioned itself as a leading organisation in the world of Catalan basketball.
The signing of the agreement was formalised at the clinic's premises in a ceremony attended by Francesc Xavier Santaló, vice-president of the FCBQ and president of the RT of Girona, and Albert Tarrats, Gerent of Clínica Girona. With the renewal, Clínica Girona will continue to become the reference medical centre for all federated members in Girona, and a member of BQ Health Programme in Girona of the FCBQ, organising various training activities.
Hello / Hi is one of the areas integrated within the Catalan Basketball Federation which aims to reduce accidents in Catalan Basketball through the training and prevention of injuries for male and female members. This department has the collaboration of a doctor specializing in sports medicine, Dr Sílvia Treviño, this also supports the organisation of talks, conferences, and workshops.
