Dr. Martí Puigfel Pont is a cardiologist and haemodynamist specialising in Interventional Cardiology. Together with Dr. Joan Bassaganyas, he heads up the Cardiac Haemodynamics Unit at Clínica Girona, which is the only private cardiac intervention unit in the Girona region. Since 2009, it has performed over 5,000 procedures, including diagnostic coronary angiographies, coronary angioplasties with drug-eluting stents, and shockwave treatments for complex lesions.
Expert in treating aortic valve stenosis with TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation), a minimally invasive technique for patients at high surgical risk. Furthermore, you participated in conferences such as the XXVI Gicor Heart Week (2022), where you spoke about this technique.
Dr María Emilce Trucco Vernetti

Dr. María Emilce Trucco Vernetti is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Clínica Girona and coordinator of the Arrhythmia and Cardiac Pacing Unit at Hospital Doctor Josep Trueta and at Clínica Quirón Palma Planas i Rotger in Mallorca. She is a researcher at Institut d’Investigació Biomèdica de Girona (IDIBGI) and an associate professor at Univesitat de Girona. She is Secretary of Societat Catalana de Cardiologia.
