In light of the #Covid19 pandemic, the healthcare professionals at Clínica Girona continue to work tirelessly to address the health concerns of our patients. Committed to you and your health.
We currently have patients admitted with #Covid19. To tackle the health challenge posed by the coronavirus pandemic, we have set up two hospital wards, the sixth and seventh, to accommodate patients with #Covid19 (with a capacity for 36 patients) and have increased our ICU beds from 6 to 10, adding those equipped in the surgical area and the Nephrology and Haemodialysis Service at Clínica Girona.

Material donations
During the initial days of resource scarcity, we were able to combat the virus thanks to the charitable contributions of individuals, businesses, and organisations that donated personal protective equipment for healthcare professionals. We have also received donations of other kinds, such as coffee machines, coffee, and pastries, which make the exhausting days of fighting the pandemic more bearable.
Drawings and supporting writings
We've also received a multitude of letters, written from the heart, and drawings from boys and girls, which give us support and strength during these difficult times we're experiencing. The writings and drawings addressed to Covid-19 patients are distributed with the lunch trays to the rooms on the wards, and they bring joy every day to the inpatients. Those addressed to the healthcare staff are displayed at the nursing stations, in the changing rooms, or on the walls of the Clinic, so that everyone can see them and everyone can enjoy them. Thank you so much, they give us encouragement.
Thank you for your support. We'll get through this!
Every day, punctually at 8 PM, we also receive the applause of the population who come out onto their balconies and windows, sending us their warmth.
