GENERAL ACCESS PROBLEMS TO THE PORTAL

You should have been given a user number at the radiology desk.

When we receive it, we will reply with the user number.

Please note that if you visit the Clínica Girona, your doctor will already have access to the images/report from their computer system.

In the contrary case, you have different options to share:

  • Download report: To share the report you can download the report in PDF and print it or send it by email to the doctor with the icon:
  • Download the images: You will download a ZIP file that you can extract into a folder and copy to a USB stick.
  • Inside the ZIP archive, you will find an executable file named CDVIEWER.EXE, which is the program for viewing images. Please note that this program only works on Windows.
  • Another option for sharing is to use the button:  You will need to enter the doctor's email address and select the duration of the sharing (default is 1 day). Upon sharing, an email will be sent to the doctor with a link to access the test, and an email to you with a PIN, which you will need to give to the doctor.
  • Another option to share as well with the button  and use the Print option, which generates a sheet you can print, with a QR code to access the study and the printed access PIN. You can also use the Print and Share button, which in addition to the printable sheet, also sends the study access link to the doctor.
  • One last option to share is for the doctor to access the radiology portal with your username and password.

When a medical study is shared from the portal, an email is sent to the designated recipients (doctors or medical centres) with a direct link to the test in question. For added security, the PIN to access this test is sent to the patient in a separate email, and will therefore need to be manually provided to the doctors or medical centres it has been shared with.

Clínica Girona, as Controller, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, hereinafter GDPR, informs you that the processing of your data will be to guarantee the registration and monitoring of medical-health treatment provided at the centre; ensure the continuity of care between different health and social services; facilitate the necessary information for the correct billing of the cost of services provided, complete your clinical history at the centre, and implement the clinical history coordination mechanisms that are developed.

This information will be used by the administrative services and services directly linked to healthcare assistance within our organisation and the Clínica Girona Group, each within their respective competencies. It may be transmitted, in whole or in part, to official public and private bodies which, for legal reasons or material necessity, must access the data for the purpose of the correct provision of medical-healthcare assistance and its subsequent funding.

Likewise, the centre informs you that it participates in the Shared Clinical History of Catalonia. The data of patients receiving care at this centre may be integrated into the Shared Clinical History of Catalonia, in accordance with legal requirements and following the guidelines of the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya, which is responsible for this file.

The data provided will not be transferred to a third country or international organisation under any circumstances. The data provided will be kept in accordance with the health legislation in force at any given time, currently Law 16/2010 on information rights concerning health and patient autonomy, and clinical documentation, which provides for a period of fifteen years from the date of discharge for each care process in relation to relevant documentation and a period of five years for the rest.

You are responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the data you provide to us and have the right to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to your data in accordance with data protection regulations. Likewise, you are informed of your right to, in the event of disagreeing with the processing carried out by our Entity or considering your rights to have been violated, lodge a complaint at any time with the Catalan Data Protection Authority.
