Premiere throughout a career
On the website of the VI edition of the awards, it is stated:

The Els Bonastruc ça Porta 2021 awards have recognised two individual achievements. That of Dr. Rafel Cubí, for his work as a family doctor at the CAP in Salt and for being the driving force behind the digitised medical record and electronic prescription in the Catalan health system. And that of Dr. Enric Juncà for your dedication and vocation to gynaecology over more than 50 years and for your commitment to the medical profession.

Born in 1929 and specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with honours, Dr. Enric Juncà delivered the first inaugural birth at Clínica Salus in Banyoles and performed the first hysterectomy at Hospital Josep Trueta. Enthusiasm and companionship have been part of his career and have kept him connected to the profession his entire life. He retired from public practice in 1999 but maintained a private clinic in Girona, which he closed at the outbreak of the pandemic.
